Delicious Crock-pot Spaghetti and Meat Sauce

I'm just not sure if there is anything more delicious to eat, than a really good spaghetti and meat sauce!
It's even better, knowing that you can come home to supper practically ready!
And the smell as you walk in the door.... so super delicious!
If you'd really like to simplify, and speed up the rest of the cooking process,
before you leave the house in the morning,
fill a pot with water, salt it, and set it on the stove so you can turn on the burner as soon as you walk through the door.
While I love fresh baked French bread that you can dip in oil and balsamic vinegar, alongside spaghetti,
pre-made garlic loaves that you can toss in the oven while the spaghetti cooks is perfect, too!
While the water boils, you can throw together your salad, (or open the bag if you prefer!)
and set the table.
And, I'm not gonna lie.
Spaghetti is best served with a glass of wine.
It's the perfect kind of meal to relax and enjoy with your family,
especially after a long crazy day.
We tend to get so busy some times, and we forget to just stop and breathe,
and talk about our days,
and just really listen to each other.
This is where life really happens.
And it's all about the spaghetti!

  • 1 onion, minced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 (14.5-ounce) can of crushed tomatoes
  • 2 (15-ounce) cans tomato sauce
  • 3 bay leaves
  • 1 tsp each, dried oregano,  dried basil, dried sage
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
1.  Scramble fry ground beef, onion and garlic. Cook until browned, about 4-5 minutes. Drain excess fat.
2.  Place meat mixture into a slow cooker. Add diced tomatoes, crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, bay leaves, oregano, basil, sage, salt and pepper, to taste. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.
3.  Serve over boiled spaghetti. (Cooked according to directions on the package.)
