Chewy Brownies With Cream Cheese Ripple

Just look at these brownies!
Look at that ooey, gooey deliciousness!
.......all chocolatey and cream cheesyey.....
Oh man!
Is there anything more satisfying than a perfectly baked chewy brownie?
Why, yes!
Of course there is!

A perfectly baked chewy brownie with cream cheese rippled throughout!

It's fantastic, really.
I mean, just add a cup of hot, black coffee,
 (alright, you can add cream to your coffee if you like!)
and you have the ultimate ingredients for an afternoon of decadence!

Now, I have to tell you,
If you're truly looking for an afternoon of decadence,
you really should indulge yourself while the kids are at school.
 It's so great to be able to sit by yourself,
in the quietness of your home,
with a good book in your hand,
(or scrolling through Pinterest looking for fantastic recipes know that's where you found this one!)
a cup of good coffee in a favorite mug,
and a delicious Chewy Brownie With Cream Cheese Ripple to savor!
I mean,
this is the stuff dreams are made of, my friends!
I promise you!
we all need a little break now and then,
(or perhaps every day if your anything like me!)
and trust me! this is much better than a Kit Kat bar!!!
MUCH, MUCH better!!!!
Chewy Brownie with Cream Cheese Ripple
For the brownie:
1 cup of butter
1/2 cup of cocoa
4 eggs
2 cups of sugar
1 3/4 cups of flour
pinch of salt
3/4 cup of mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
For the Cream Cheese Ripple
1/4 cup of sugar
4 oz. of cream cheese (1/2 a block)
3 tbsp. of butter, softened
1 egg
2 tbsp. of flour
1 tsp. of vanilla
1/4 cup of mini semi-sweet chocolate chips for sprinkle
For the brownie, combine butter and cocoa in medium size sauce pan over medium heat, stirring as it melts. Remove from heat.
In a medium size bowl, whisk eggs. Add sugar, flour, salt and mini chocolate chips without stirring.
Pour cocoa mixture over top, and stir all ingredients together.
Pour 2/3rds of mixture into greased 9x12 baking pan.
For the cream cheese ripple, beat together sugar, cream cheese, butter, egg, flour and vanilla.
Pour over batter in pan.
Spoon remaining brownie batter over top, and gently run a butter knife through top layer to ripple into the cream cheese layer.

Bake at 350 degrees, for 30-35 minutes.
Sprinkle mini chocolate chips immediately over top.

Cool completely before cutting into squares.
