Glazed Orange Ginger Carrots

This is a super simple upgrade to plain old cooked carrots.
It takes hardly any extra time at all,
and the subtle orange, ginger flavour is so delicious!
This is a perfect addition to your holiday dinner table!
(Or any dinner table at all, for that matter!)
10 large carrots, peeled and sliced
3 tbsp. of butter
1 tbsp. of packed brown sugar
1/2 tsp. of ginger
zest and juice from 1 orange
1/4 tsp. of salt
Boil carrots until crisply tender.
Drain water. (Reserve water for gravy if required.)
Return carrots to burner and add remaining ingredients.
Cook over medium heat stirring occasionally until heated through.
Serve with a dash of fresh cracked pepper if desired.
